Mixologist Teressa Dello Russo Creates Blissful GLO’tini


 

 
 


Manager/Mixologist Teressa Dello Russo created this signature drink for chic, ultra-modern Crush bar and lounge in the Marriott Hartford Downtown when it opened in 2005.

The GLO’tini was inspired by GLO, the hotel’s spa. The aquamarine color profile of the cocktail evokes a sensation of blissful relaxation. It took a few combinations of different liqueurs to achieve the right color and taste, Teressa says. She found the perfect blend of Blue Alize, Midori, Parrot Bay Rum and Pineapple Juice. To give the cocktail an extra sparkle, the drink is embellished with multi-colored flashing glow cubes.

An experienced manager, trainer and bartender, Teressa lists her most important management role as being a great hostess and views her daily management at Crush as being similar to hosting a party at her own home for friends and family.

1 oz Blue Alize
3/4 oz Midori
3/4 oz Parrot Bay Rum
1/2 oz Pineapple juice
