This is the signature drink of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Paul Gauguin, the only luxury ship to sail the waters of French Polynesia year-round. Inspiration for the cocktail was, of course, the name of the ship and a cruise to the Marquesas Islands with a stop in Nuku Hiva, the final resting place for the famous painter Paul Gauguin. The idea was to create a cocktail not too fancy and sweet but light and refreshing, perfect to sip after spending a beautiful day at one of the beaches or after a tour around the islands. The drink is available in all the bars and restaurants on board the 339-guest ship. |
