Cocktail Contest Winners Featured by
Nikko Hotels International

Nikko Hotels International recently had a competition among its hotels in Japan to find the best drink recipes. Cocktails were judged in Short Drink and Long Drink categories. The top six drinks are featured at and all of Nikko hotels in Japan until the end of September.

Short Drink category

Sky Lovers
(First prize)

2/3 oz. Watermelon liqueur
1/3 oz.  Sauza Tequila
7 ml Coconuts Liqueur
2/3 oz. Pineapple juice
3 ml Fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. Marie Brizard Grenadine Syrup

Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.

Take Off

½ oz. Charleston Follies
2/3 oz. Framboise
2/3 oz. Cranberry juice
1/6 oz. Fresh lime juice

Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.

Samurai

5/6 oz. Charleston Follies
2/3 oz. Ginjo Shirataka (sake)
1/3 oz.  Japanese lime juice
1/6 oz. Blue Curacao
1 tsp.   Mint liqueur

Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.


Long Drink category

Windmill
(First prize)

2/3 oz. Marie Brizard Charleston
1 2/3 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
½ oz. Blue Curacao

Shake and serve in a wine glass.

Crystal Bouquet

1 oz. Marie Brizard Charleston
1/3 oz. Marie Brizard Lime Citron
1/6 oz. Curacao
1/6 oz. Anisette
2/3 oz Pineapple juice

Shake and serve in a goblet.

Marie’s Trick

1 oz. Marie Brizard Charleston
2/3 oz. Watermelon liqueur
1/3 oz. Fresh lime juice
1 tsp. Grenadine syrup

Shake, pour in a fruit champagne glass and fill with soda water.
