A Luxurious Ice Bar at Four Seasons George V in Paris

Creative vodka cocktails, unique decoration and traditional Gipsy music give Four Seasons George V, the Parisian luxury hotel, a new attraction, inspired by ice palaces.

From 23 November 2006 to 15 January 2007, the Marble Courtyard will be home to a bar entirely made of ice, imagined and designed by in-house artist Jeff Leatham, in collaboration with Michel Amann, double world champion of ice-sculpting and Imperia Vodka.

Nested in a cube in the center of the courtyard, this ephemeral bar encourages dreaming and evasion: columns, armchairs, sofa and bar all made of ice…winter has frozen each element of the decor.

The interior decoration, playing with the contrast between black velvet and the transparency of ice, is a perfect combination of past and present: The Boudoir style, sculpted in the ice, gives a fresh contemporary feel.

Cozy fur ponchos designed by KaufmanFranco, famous for dressing Beyoncé and Sharon Stone, are provided to guests, so the moment remains magical despite the temperature.

Never before distributed in France, Imperia Vodka will be the key ingredient in a selection of cocktails flavoured with raspberry, vanilla or cinnamon and designed by Johann Burgos, the hotel’s Chef Barman.

In order to keep it intimate, the Ice Bar will welcome up to 20 guests at a time only:
