Casa Herradura, founded in 1870 in Jalisco, Mexico, was named 2007 Distiller of the year by
Wine Enthusiast
magazine.  The company produces 100 percent blue agave tequila crafted using traditional methods, such as cooking the agave in clay ovens and fermenting naturally with wild yeast.  It is all natural and estate bottled.

Tequila Herradura tequilas are Silver, aged 40 days; Reposado, aged 11 months; Anejo, aged 25 months; and Seleccion Suprema, aged more than 49 months in American oak barrels.

CINCO DE HERRADURA

1.5 oz Tequila Herradura Silver
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz cranberry juice
Splash of lemon-lime soda
Squeeze of fresh lime wedge (also use as garnish)

Rim on third of glass with lemon, dip in green sugar, then rim another third of glass with lemon and dip in white sugar, then rim another third of glass and dip in red sugar.
