Mixologist Charlotte Voisey created this smoky cocktail for the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City. It features Reyka Vodka, the only vodka produced in Iceland, but it gets color and depth of flavor from chartreuse and passion fruit.

 

Halloween Caldron Cocktail

3 white sugar cubes
Juice of half a lime
6 basil leaves
1 1/2 oz Reyka Vodka
1/2 oz green chartreuse
1 oz passion fruit puree

Muddle, shake with crushed ice and pour into tall glass on top of the passion fruit foam causing the drink to bubble. Garnish with fresh basil sprig.
