Romantic Red Cocktails

Corzo Red Velvet Martini

1½ parts Corzo Anejo
1½ parts pomegranate juice
Splash Pineapple
Splash sweet and sour

Shake all ingredients over ice. Strain into martini glass and garnish with a lime.

Hibiki Kiss

1.5 oz Hibiki 12 Year old
1 tsp sweet vermouth
¼ oz cherry brandy
Maraschino cherry for garnish

Mix all ingredients except cherry in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve.

Valentini

1 ½ oz. Pomegranate Vodka
½ oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. cranberry juice
Splash of sweet and sour
Cherry garnish

Sparkling Kiss
Served by Kahn’s Catering, Carmel, IN

1 oz. 1800 Tequila
2 oz. Sparkling Wine
0.5 oz.Raspberry Liquor
0.5 oz. Soho Lychee Liquor

Combine tequila, raspberry liquor and soho lychee liqor in the bottom of a champagne flute

Top with sparkling wine or champagne

The Makers Heart

3 blackberries
1 oz POM 100% pomegranate juice
¼ oz lemon juice

Muddle. Add ice and 2 oz Makers Mark 46 bourbon
¾ oz sweet vermouth (I use Carpano Antica.)
1 oz simple syrup*

Shake and strain up or over ice.

Serve chilled up in a martini glass or on the rocks with a partially navel orange-zested sugar rim Garnish with an orange peel. Dash of Fee Bros. Orange Bitters

*Simple Syrup: Take one ounce of plain white sugar and zest it with four peels of orange. Use this to partially sugar the rim of the serving glass.

Saint Valentine

This plush and romantic variation on the Daiquiri takes its sweetness from the rich, orange-infused Creole Shrubb and its color from a healthy splash of ruby port.

2 oz Rhum J.M Blanc
½ oz Clement Creole Shrubb
½ oz Ruby port
¾ oz fresh-squeezed lime juice

Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard for 10 seconds and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with flamed orange zest

Cointreau Vixen

2 oz Cointreau
2 ½ oz red grape juice
Sparkling water or tonic

Pour all ingredients into an iced filled long drink glass and gently stir. Top with sparkling or tonic water.

Fembot Fatale

2 parts Svedka Vodka
2 parts cranberry or pomegranate juice
1 tsp sugar (or simple syrup)
½ fresh lime
Top with club soda

Cut lime into four pieces. Add lime and rest of ingredients except for club soda into a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime twist.
