Four Variations on a Margarita


 

 


Ole Smoky Moonshine Margarita

3 oz Original Unaged Corn Whiskey
2 oz lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
½ - 1 tsp triple sec
1 tsp salt and sugar mixed with lime for rim

Add ice to liquid ingredients and shake. Strain liquid into a salt and sugar rimmed margarita glass.

Camarena Margarita

1 oz Familia Camarena Reposado Tequila
2 oz fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon agave nectar

In a cocktail shaker combine all of the ingredients and add ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

 

 

 

Lemon Rosemary Margarita

4 oz. Sauza Silver Tequila
8 lemons (juice only)
3 cups club soda
4 tbs sugar
4 rosemary sprigs

Combine lemons, club soda, sugar, and tequila in pitcher. Mix well. Refrigerate until cold. Place one rosemary sprig in each of the four serving cups. Pour margarita and drink cold or iced.

 

The Aha!arita

1.5 parts Sauza Silver Tequila
1 part white wine
1.5 parts limeade
2 parts lemon-lime soda

Combine all ingredients in a pitcher. Mix well. Serve cold or iced.
