The Classic Bond Martini

2 martini glasses, preferably frozen
4 dashes of dry Vermouth
5 oz. (3 1/4 jiggers) Gin
Frozen hard ice cubes

Garnish: 2 pitted olives or twist of lemon

Pour half the vermouth into each glass and turn them carefully so the glasses are coated. Pour out any residual. Shake (not stir) the gin with the ice in a mixing glass and strain into the glasses.
