Because Autumn Tastes Better With Goose

Master mixologist Nick Mautone created these cocktails inspired by the warm and spicy flavors of autumn.

Pumpkin Potion

1 ½ parts Grey Goose La Poire Flavored Vodka
½ part Allspice Dram
½ part Licor 43
¾ part simple syrup
1 heaping teaspoon pumpkin butter
¾ part of lemon juice
Cinnamon sugar and dried apple chip for garnish

Rub simple syrup on lip of martini glass and press into cinnamon sugar. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into prepared glass, garnish and toast the fall season.

Falling Leaf Fizz

1 part Grey Goose La Poire Flavored Vodka
4 parts of sparkling wine
Dash of simple syrup
1 heaping teaspoon pumpkin butter
Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
Dried apple chip for garnish

Place La Poire, pumpkin butter, spice and syrup in champagne glass. Stir well. Top with sparkling wine, garnish with apple chip and watch the leaves change.

Stormy Cider

2 parts Grey Goose Original or L’Orange Flavored Vodka
½ part Lillet Blanc
4-6 threads of saffron
1 Teaspoon of hot tap water
Dash of simple syrup
Orange or lemon twist for garnish

In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, place the threads of saffron and the hot water, stir well and allow to steep for a minute. Add ice and remainder of ingredients. Stir until outside of shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into chilled martini glass, garnish with twist and enjoy on a cool, windy night.
