Cocktails for Fall Holidays

Ichabod Crane

1½ parts Bols Pumpkin Smash
1 part Frangelico Liqueur
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/3 part Sailor Jerry Rum

Blend Bols Pumpkin Smash with ice cream and Frangelico ina blender with ice. Pour into a champagne flute and pour rum over the top. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg or cinnamon.

Pumpkin Martini

2 parts Bols Pumpkin Smash
1 part Sailor Jerry Rum
¼ part cream
¼ part milk

Shake with ice and strain into a sugar-rimmed chilled martini glass. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Sailor Jerry Hot Toddy

1 oz Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
1/2 oz cognac
1 oz apple cider
2 oz hot water

Combine ingredients in a mug. Garnish with a cinnamon stick

 


Charlotte Voisey, a London native now based in New York, has travelled throughout the US since 2006 consulting on spirits, mixology and bar operations on behalf of William Grant & Sons USA.

She has managed cocktail bars in London, Barcelona, and Buenos Aires. She founded Apartment 195 on the King’s Road in London in 2002. It was named London Bar of the Year in 2003 and the next year she was received the title UK Bartender of the Year in 2004.

In 2005 Charlotte was invited to guest bartend with Tony Abou Ganim and Francesco LaFranconi at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic. She won the silver medal at the World Female Bartending Championships in Italy in 2006 and her Punch & Judy was named cocktail of the year as 2009 Tales of the Cocktail.
