Warm, Spicy Rum Cocktails


 

 
 


Mixologist Jonathan Pogash creates a warm, spicy variation on the legendary and ever-popular “Bacardi and Coke” cocktail. This new version has a Latin flavor that combines warming Espresso, Bacardi 8 year rum and the vibrant taste of bitters that is perfect for the crisp, autumn air.

The Bacardi Cuba Libre

1 ˝ parts Bacardi 8
˝ part strong Espresso
3 dashes Jerry Thomas Decanter Bitters
Lime Wedge

Build ingredients in a highball glass with ice. Squeeze the garnish into the glass.

 

 

The Original Bacardi Cuba Libre

1 part Bacardi Gold Rum
3 parts Coca-Cola

Pour over ice in tall glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

 

Bacardi and Coke

1 part Bacardi Superior Rum
3 parts Coca-Cola

Pour over ice in tall glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
