New Red Stag from Jim Beam


 

 


Red Stag is the first infused Bourbon from Jim Beam and the first innovation from the company since Jim Beam Black more than a decade ago. Red Stag is crafted with four-year-old Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and infused with natural black cherry flavors.

 

 

 

Brass Buck

1 part oz. Red Stag by Jim Beam
3 parts ginger ale
Lime wedge

Fill highball glass 3/4s full with ice. Pour in Red Stag and ginger ale. Garnish with lime.

 

 

Blood Red

1 ½ part Red Stag by Jim Beam
1 part Sweet Vermouth
1 part DeKuyper Crème de cassis
2 part Fresh OJ

Build over ice in a double Old Fashioned Glass.

Garnish with an Orange/cherry flag.

 

Sloe Doe

1 ½ part Red Stag by Jim Beam
½ part DeKuyper Sloe gin
1 ½ part Fresh Lemon Sour

Build over ice in a double Old Fashioned glass.

Garnish with an orange slice.

 

Smooth Talker

1 part Red Stag by Jim Beam
½ part DeKuyper Vanilla Delight
2 parts ½ & ½

Shake with ice and pour all into a double Old Fashioned glass.

 

Red Julep

1 ½ part Red Stag by Jim Beam
1 part Organic simple syrup
(Equal parts organic or sugar in the raw and hot water stir until dissolved)
1 half Black Plum sliced
6 - 8 Mint leaves
3 fresh tarragon leaves

In a Julep cup or double Old Fashioned glass, muddle the plum, mint and tarragon with the simple syrup. Fill glass ¾ with crushed ice, add Bourbon and stir to combine and distribute fruit & mint throughout glass. Top up with crushed ice and garnish with a powdered sugar dusted mint sprig and a slice of plum and zest a lemon so the thin strips of peel land on the top.
