Baked Apple Pie Cocktail


 

 
 


Created for the Library Bar at the Dallas Warwick Melrose Hotel

1 1/2 ounces Cruzan Coconut Rum
1/2 ounce Apple Juice
Dash (maybe 1/4 ounce) Apple Pucker (apple liqueur)

Pour these over ice into a martini shaker and mix thoroughly. Strain into glass and top with whipped cream.

NOTE: Bartenders at the Library Bar tried several whipped creams and found the most attractive presentation comes from aerosol/canned whipped cream. Also, they stressed you must use coconut rum -- regular rum won't give the same flavor.

Located minutes from downtown Dallas, the Warwick Melrose Hotel is a Four-Diamond AAA hotel. First opened in 1924, it was named a Dallas historic landmark in 1983.
