It’s a big hit with the trendy after-work crowd from the nearby Superior Court and State House. It was created when one of the bartenders was asked by a very cute customer to make her “something different.” She didn’t want fruity, didn’t want tequila or vodka … but she had no idea what she did want. After asking her a few questions to get a feel for her tastes, the bartender learned she was a vegetarian and thought he might be able to play off her eating habits. Any good bartender knows not only what goes into a cocktail, but what goes into his liquors. Knowing that Hendricks gin is distilled from cucumbers, he decided to give it a try.
