Trend: After Dinner Drinks with a Touch of Coffee


 

 
 


Jalisco Nights

1 oz. Camarena Reposado Tequila
5 oz. hot coffee
1/2 oz. Creme de Cacao
1/2 oz. Green Chartreuse
Whipped Cream
Pinch of Cinnamon

Build in a glass coffee mug. Top with a dollop of whipped cream dusted with a shake of cinnamon.

Absinthe, legalized in 2007, is becoming an important cocktail ingredient in special drinks and festive punches.

1 Part Pernod Absinthe
1 part Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
1 part Irish Cream

Chill each ingredient separately. Add ingredients to a cordial sized glass.

 

Espresso Reeftini

On the menu at Reef Road Restaurant & Rum Bar in West Palm Beach, Fla.

1 ounce espresso
½ ounce Thai coconut milk
½ ounce agave nectar
½ ounce Araku Coffee Liqueur
1 ½ ounces vanilla-infused Stolichnaya

Shake, strain and sieve into rimmed cocktail glass. Rim the glass with blended dried coconut, dark chocolate and vanilla bean.
