The Voice Restaurant at Hotel Icon in downtown Houston has
created a new classic. The well-known Scarlet O'Hara recipe, which
included Southern Comfort and cranberry juice, has been given a
modern twist in the Scarlet Jo, named after film actress Scarlet
Johansson.
According to Todd Leveritt, Voice’s Wine Director, “We originally
designed an ‘Iconic’ drink list, but before opening the doors to
Voice, we dropped the verbiage and renamed all but one of the
drinks—the Scarlet Jo. It has, by far, been the calling card of our
bar and lounge.”
