The first round of the World Cup begins and Brazil is a favorite to win the tournament. This cocktail using the Brazilian white rum, Oronoco, is a summer favorite served at ASKEW in New York.

ORONOCO CAIPIRISSIMA

1 1/2 oz. Oronoco Rum Splash of fresh squeezed lime juice 1 Tablespoon sugar 4 fresh cut lime wedges Fresh crushed ice

Preparation:
Muddle 4 fresh cut lime wedges in a shaker. Add Oronoco Rum, a splash of fresh squeezed lime juice, 1 tablespoon of refined sugar and shake vigorously with ice. Strain contents into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lime wedge.
