Batch it For a party of 4–20
Makes 8 drinks, about 35¾ oz · 1075 ml before ice.
| Amount | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| 12 oz · 360 ml | Bourbon |
| 6 oz · 180 ml | Fresh lemon juice |
| 5⅓ oz · 160 ml | Simple syrup |
| 5⅓ oz · 160 ml | Egg white |
| 7¼ oz · 215 ml | Cold water, for dilution (approx.) |
The water stands in for the melt from shaking: about 25% for a shaken drink. It is an approximation, so taste and adjust. Chill the batch at least 2 hours and pour over fresh ice.
Use a 2 liter pitcher, or split it between two 1 liter bottles.
Egg and cream don’t keep in a batch: add them per drink and shake to order.
