“We decided to create the very best margarita, using only the finest ingredients, so it seemed natural that we would garnish it with pure gold dust and gold leaves,” says Executive Chef Reed Groban. Tequilas and margaritas are the specialty drink of La Hacienda, which features more than 50 tequila choices and a wide variety of unique margaritas on its menu. Gran Patron Platinum and Patron Silver are widely recognized as among the best tequilas available with price tags of $45 to $150 to prove it. The $170-a-bottle Gran Marnier Cent Cinquantenaire is noted for its essence of wild tropical oranges and up to 50-year aging process. The La Hacienda 24K Margarita is offered for $50 and is mixed tableside. The restaurant is one of only two Mexican restaurants in North America to claim the AAA Four Diamond Award. It also boasts Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence
