Negroni Variations (and the Boulevardier)
Equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, stirred and served over ice. The Negroni is about as easy as cocktails get, and it’s bitter on purpose. Swap the gin for bourbon and you’ve got a Boulevardier, a bourbon-forward version that suits colder weather. The riffs here keep the Campari and play with the base spirit, the sweetener or a little bubbly on top.
